2007 Was a full year for Missy and I. In January Weston went on his first business trip for Beehive Credit Union to Summit Information Systems in Corvalis, Oregon with the VP of IT for a UNIX training in preparation for a big software conversion in May. This was also the first time that Miss and I had been apart since we were married. In February we decided to get a puppy and went to look a litter in Davis County and fell in love with a certain black lab. The first week in March we were bringing our puppy home. Windu has been a handful to say the least, but he has been a lot of fun. In April we started Puppy School at Petsmart with our awesome trainer Jessica. Windu graduated puppy class with flying colors.
In June we celebrated our second anniversary and later that month we went to Missy's Grandma and Grandpa Zaugg's 50th wedding anniversary in Hayden, Idaho. In July, Missy started her fourth year of teaching third grade at Jordan Hills. The last week in July, I went with the scouts of a Colorado River trip in the Moab area. Toward the end of the summer we enrolled Windu in the Advanced Training class at Petsmart again with Jessica, we are trying to get him ready for the Canine Good Citizen test from the AKC.
September brought news of another addition to our family, we found out that Missy was pregnant (in case you don't read the previous blog, she is due in May). In October I hit my one year mark in the IT department for Beehive and conviently planned a trip to setup a training room in the St. George branch of the credit union during the weekend of our annual marathon trip/shopping extravaganza. I was also promoted to systems administrator for the credit union because our current administrator wanted to work closer to his home.
We were able to listen to our baby's heartbeat in November and again in December and have an ultrasound scheduled the first week of January.
We are excited for the new year that approaches and have fond memories of this year that has past.
Love Weston and Missy.
